Bipasha Basu is an award-winning Indian movie actress and model, best known for her remarkable acting in Hindi movies. Bipasha Basu quickly rose to stardom as one of India’s glamour models and actresses. She appeared in numerous movies until finally making her big-screen debut with Ajnabee (2001), a crime thriller in which she played the vamp role – an effort which received critical acclaim and ultimately garnered her the Filmfare award for best female debut performance.
Over time, she made waves in Bollywood by contributing numerous unique projects such as horror thriller “Raaz”, romance drama “Mere yaar ki Shadi hai”, as well as some notable failures like David Dhawan’s comedy film Chor Machaaye Shor and romantic drama Gunaah. Additionally, 2002 also marked her introduction into Telugu film through “Takkari Donga”, alongside Mahesh Babu and Lisa Ray.
Bipasha’s most celebrated and beloved work to date was 2005’s “Jism”, where she co-starred with John Abraham as an iconic sex symbol in Bollywood. Additionally she made her Bengali film debut with “Shob Charitro Kalponik,” where she displayed an entirely different look that garnered both recognition and success within this industry.
