User Agreement & Privacy Policy

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Reel Genius website, applications, or services (collectively, the “Site”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this User Agreement & Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately. Your continued use of the Site following any updates to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised agreement. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Reel Genius.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to articles, videos, audio clips, graphics, logos, trademarks, design elements, and software, is the exclusive property of Reel Genius or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may access and view the content solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with this agreement. Any reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, or exploitation of the content without prior written consent from Reel Genius is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of the Site’s intellectual property may result in civil and criminal penalties.

Data Protection and GDPR Compliance

Reel Genius collects and processes personal data, such as contact details, usage information, and device identifiers, only for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes, including providing and improving the Site, analyzing performance, and communicating with users. Reel Genius reserves the right to modify, update, or replace this User Agreement & Privacy Policy at any time, at its sole discretion. Your continued access to or use of the Site after such changes become effective will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the updated agreement, you must stop using the Site immediately.

Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site, including but not limited to hacking, scraping, introducing malware, or attempting to access data not intended for you. Reel Genius may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if it reasonably believes you have violated this agreement or applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Reel Genius, its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Reel Genius does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components, and all content is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. In no event shall the total aggregate liability of Reel Genius to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Site or this agreement exceed the amount, if any, that you have paid to Reel Genius for access to the Site in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
